Aim of the Interview Skills Course
The course aims to give you a thorough understanding of what interviewers will require of you during the interviewing process and how to make the maximum impact by providing structured and personal answers to a wide range of questions.
Through a combination of interactive group discussions and personal practice, you will learn and apply a wide range of interview skills to make a strong impact. At the end of the day, you will know:
- How to introduce yourself at the start of an interview and sell your enthusiasm
- How to talk confidently about your strengths and weaknesses;
- How to sell your interpersonal and behavioral skills (communication, team playing, leadership)
- How to answer interview questions asking for examples
- How to deliver suitable examples from your past experience
- How to answer difficult questions on management, leadership and conflict
- How to answer sensitive questions (mistakes, weaknesses, difficult colleagues, etc)
- How to adopt a positive body language and what questions to ask at the end
The course will give you invaluable interview skills no matter what the style of interview that you are about to attend: traditional, competency based, speed interviewing or any other style.

The interview skills course lasts from 9:00am to 5:00 pm and takes place in San Jose. The agenda is as follows:

Our commitment to your success does not stop at the course. After the interview skills course, you will have the opportunity to stay in touch with Kirk Pennington for a period of one (1) month. This will enable you to address any issues that you may encounter during your interview preparation and will ensure that you approach all your interviews with total confidence.
Fee
Workshops are $150 per person (includes two-4 hour sessions with a minimum of five participants and follow up email and phone call coaching for one month); additional one-on-one sessions (90 minutes) at $75.
